LEAD DEVELOPER – 1 POSITION
Location : PUNE/BANGALORE/MUMBAI/DELHI
  Position Overview
Lead the design and implementation of new software features and applications across our entire integrated security appliance product line. Syntensia is the only security solutions provider to provide a complete integrated product and service based offering to small and mid-sized businesses around the world.
  Duties/Responsibilities :
  • Performs product design, bug verification, release testing and beta support on software projects which may require extensive research and analysis.
• Requires leading-edge skills in the latest areas of new technology.
• Works unsupervised and/or is called to consult on the most complex designs and projects.
• Provides technical leadership for experienced developers, across multiple teams.
• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Interacts with executive/senior internal and external personnel.
  Education/Skills/Environment :
  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Performs the most complex product design activities on software which may require extensive research and analysis; participates in product design meetings.
• Performs implementation/maintenance of most complex multiple-product modules/sub-systems
• Performs highest-level bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
• Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• May have product architecture responsibility: design and implementation to meet project objectives; documentation of product architecture.
• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
• Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
  Minimum Qualifications :
  • 5 years of commercial software development including C/C++ programming in a Linux/Unix environment
• Strong understanding of TCP, HTML and SMTP protocols
• Strong understanding of Linux – basic authorization, transparent proxy, TCP/IP streams and Linux packages in general.
• Strong understanding of Security and underlying technologies including anti-virus, anti-spam, as well as security vulnerabilities, exploits, and defenses in general.
• Deep technical knowledge and expertise in custom kernel work including adding kernel level features and optimizing/minimizing the kernel
• Very deep technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation; expert analytical and design skills at multi-product/multi-environment level.
• In-depth experience in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
• Very high understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance; aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
• Recognized reference and central point for technical issues across groups and products.

CREDIT CONTROLLER - 1 POSITION
Location : PUNE
  Responsibilities :
  • Monitor compliance with payment term discipline and ensure that collection targets are met monthly without fail.
• Ensure regular daily collection and plan monthy activity to ensure that both old and current debts are attended to and collected.
• Ensure that remittances and collections are documented and allocated punctually. Candidate should be very good at record keeping.
• Ensure that customers are kept informed of the invoice query, status and queries are resolved quickly.
  Candidate Requirement :
  • 2-3 years of work experience of credit collection (Preferably from the service industry).
• Ready to take on challenging customers and solve it satisfactory.
• Good communication skills are a pre requisite and should be ready to make physical field visits to customers. Should be pro active and very persistent in follow ups.
• Should have good MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of invoice delivery, cheque / bank collections and transaction record keeping necessary. Handle a region with both direct and indirect reporting.
• KNOWLEDGE OF INVOICE DELIVERY, CHEQUE COLLECTION AND TRANSACTIONS WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE.

  • The incumbent must be able to work under pressure, meet targets & deadlines with excellent communication skills. He should be able to actively participate in Business decisions, ensure visibility & control.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely finalization and submission of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports and returns.
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth coordination among the offices in India and in obtaining the timely inputs from them.
  • Responsible for ensuring the statutory compliances, Corporate Governance, returns related to stock exchange, fund raising and management of funds and dealing with various Financial Institutions and Banks.
